# Address Book

The Address book allows you to associate your own names to Viction addresses. This makes it easier for you to recognised the addresses you interact with frequently. It can also prove to be a security measure , protecting against address-poisoning or address-spoofing scams as trusted addresses will show up with the names you designate.

You can access the Address book from the main Viction Safe screen.

### Step 1: Create Address Book

Click on the "Address Book" on the menu tab and then click on " Create Entry".

Creating an entry in the address book allows you to pre-select from this address when sending a token, it will also display with this name in your transaction history.
